Weekend in San Antonio

Last weekend we met my sister, Misty, in San Antonio. She was there with her students for a contest at the Stock Show & invited us to join her. When we arrived at our hotel, we saw that Alan Jackson's tour bus was there along with Gary Alan's. So we were hoping to see them but no such luck! We also got to see our great friends Smiley, Courtney, Jeff, Holly & little Luke. It was a fun weekend! Here are a few pictures.

Welcome Baby Avery!

Since I was put on bedrest before Avery was born, two of my showers had to be put on hold until after little Avery arrived. And, I am actually very happy that it worked out this way because my family & friends were able to meet Avery at the showers. My sister Misty, sister-in-law Rayna, & great friends Amy, Kelsey, Sara, Alissa, Janna, & Sondra hosted a wonderful shower at Texas Land & Cattle on Saturday, January 24th. It was great to see so many friends that I have not seen in years! Thank you all for making this a special day for Avery & me. We love you!

On the following day, Aunt Cindy, Kristen & Great Granny hosted a shower for Avery & me. This was the Martini/Young side of my family. (My dad's family.) It was great to see family that we don't often see. Some traveled many miles to see us. Thank you so much...so sweet of you all! It was another wonderful shower. The decorations were so cute!
