Happy 1st Birthday, Wyatt Cole Sonsel

With many family & friends, we celebrated Wyatt's 1st birthday on June 18th. His actual birthday is June 19th but with it being Father's Day, we celebrated a day early. The theme was 'John Deere.' Thank you all for making his day special!

A special thanks to Eric Cook for his wonderful photography skills!

Sister wanted to help with gifts too
NaNa & Aunt Misty
Not sure about this...
Why is everyone singing & looking at ME?!

On Hold......

As soon as I can find my way out of all these boxes & all this junk stuff, I will begin posting again... I have been doing a few crafty things in my spare (haha) time.

On another note, we are settling into our new home in Houston & thrilled to be back home close to family, friends & SHOPPING (well, Jake isn't thrilled about that but I sure am.)

Adios Corpus Christi, Hello HOUSTON!!!

YES, we are moving back home! Jake will be working for FMC starting at the beginning of May so we are moving in 2-3 weeks! Yikes-not much time to wrap things up here but oh so thankful for the move. And, even more thankful for my amazing husband who scored not just a job, but a GREAT job that will allow me to stay home with the babes! God is good!

Thank you to all of you who have been praying. We love you!!!

Sonsel Sass

Yes, I have started a little business. Well, sort of. If you are interested in buying something, please email me @ texasa99ie@gmail.com. I have plans to put my stuff on Etsy one day but just don't have enough stuff yet {or time}. Not sure why I have decided to start this while we are trying sell our house, moving {to who knows where}, hubby is getting out of the military & entering the "real" world, & I have two children under the age of 2 1/2 but I am! Never a better time than now, right?! Here are a few samples... I have a few more things that I will post soon.

Divine

My all time favorite dessert is red velvet cake, so when I came across this e-mealz recipe for Chocolate Red Velvet Cupcakes, I HAD to try it. And it was...simply divine! And, now, I HAVE to share it.

{Chocolate} Red Velvet Cupcakes
1 pkg (2 layer) Red Velvet Cake Mix
1 (3.9 oz.) pkg. chocolate instant pudding
1 c chocolate chips (I used dark chocolate)
Icing: I chose 1 (16 oz.) container Duncan Hines Creamy Homestyle Cream Cheese Icing
instead of making the icing :)

Add dry pudding mix to dry cake mix. Add ingredients as listed on cake mix package & mix as directed. Fold in chocolate chips. Spoon into prepared muffin cups & bake as directed on cake mix. Cool & frost.
I served them with Blue Bell {of course} Vanilla Bean ice cream.

So simple!
