Girls Win!

For those that missed the news, #3 is a GIRL! I had a feeling from the beginning that it was a girl. :) She is healthy & according to the sonogram, is right on track with her due date which is November 12th. That is my dad & brother's birthday. How fun would that be if she was born on her due date?!

Hi Family & Friends!

Hope that all is well with everyone! With all my DIYing, I am finding it hard to sit down for more than 5 minutes. But, since we are far away from friends & family, I am trying harder to keep up with our blog.

Our first adventure in Utah was to Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area. Lots to do there & we plan to return!

Sooooo many have asked me to post pics of the house. I wanted to wait until everything is in it's place, all pictures are hung & everything is decorated...BUT, that might be a few weeks so I will post some this week. We have been doing lots of online shopping since there aren't many stores here in town. Waiting on things to arrive via USPS, UPS or FedEx isn't much fun but I am thankful for online shopping! I will end by posting a pic of my two sometimes sweet little muffins.

Utah Update

Hello Family & Friends!

How is everyone?! All is well here in Utah! The weather is beautiful right now-sunny/mid-80's & VERY low humidity. Lovin' it & spending lots of time outdoors. I will not miss the TX heat & humidity...thinking back to last summer makes me shudder...especially since I'm preggo now. :)

We have all the boxes out of the house & have most of the rooms ready. We absolutely love this house & feel blessed to have found it. We have met a couple of neighbors & they are very friendly. Such a change from anywhere else we have lived! In the 7 years that Jake & I have been married, we have never had neighbors that we actually talk to or hang out with. We even had a couple from two streets over bring us some homemade salsa & offer their teens as babysitters. And, they are from Georgia so maybe I will have a wine drinking buddy after all?!

Now that we are more settled, I will be taking more pics & sharing.

Utah, We Love Thee

'Land of the mountains high, Utah, we love thee! 

Land of the sunny sky, Utah, we love thee!

Far in the glorious west, Throned on the mountain's crest,

In robes of statehood dressed, Utah, we love thee!'

On Sunday, May 13th (Mother's Day), we will begin our new adventure! We are Vernal, Utah bound! The drive takes about 20 hours so we will take a couple of days to get there. Once we arrive, we will close on our {amazing} house. This is definitely a bittersweet move. We have enjoyed being back home for a year but are excited about God's plan for our family. Vernal is a small town (no Target, no Old Navy, no Starbucks) BUT we will survive. :) It's beautiful & we will actually get to experience seasons! Avery asked to see snow all winter & now her wish will be granted. Jake will be a manager of the FMC base there. It's a great opportunity for him!

Fallynn Bonifay Young

My brother & Sara were blessed with a baby girl, Fallynn Bonifay, on Thursday, April 26th. She is beautiful!

 

Avery absolutely adores her & wanted her to get down & play with her :)

This is about as close as Wyatt would get to her. He's not sure about this tiny thing. :)
